Leo meets Alyssa, a girl he has a crush on, while out for a walk. He is humiliated though when he slips on a banana peel in front of her. At that moment, the mysterious Mateo appears and announces himself to be the new Elemon creator in town. Mateo teases and torments Leo using an Elemon called Friction, which can manipulate friction at will.
